
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Training
As of March 1st, 2018 the New York City Department of Buildings requires that all workers on major Construction sites and sites that require a site safety coordinator must have a valid OSHA 10 hour card issued by an authorized OSHA outreach training provider. Department of Buildings job inspectors are often found on job sites verifying that all workers have valid OSHA cards. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class Description
The 10 hour OSHA class consists of 10 hours of training which is split into 2 separate days. Each day includes 5 hours of class time with the addition of breaks. Students will learn through a variety of different teaching methods including lecture, power-points, group discussions, videos, worksheets and quizzes.
OSHA 10 Construction Training
The 10 Hour OSHA Construction Training Course provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
The 10 Hour OSHA course is intended for entry level construction workers while the 30 hour OSHA course is better suited for individuals with some safety responsibility.
OSHA 10 Hour Card
On completion of the 2-day course all students will receive a temporary OSHA certificate of completion that will serve as temporary proof of completion of the course until the OSHA 10 Card is received via mail. After the
